Job summary

We are seeking Principal/Associate Director level transport planning consultants to support the growth and flexibility of our expanding business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and bring the following expertise:

  • Management of large-scale transport planning projects, including complex Transport Assessments and input into Environmental Statements;
  • Supporting strategic/Local Plan site promotion with evidence preparation;
  • Providing evidence for Planning Appeals, including acting as an Expert Witness at Planning Inquiries;
  • Knowledge of highway design standards and transport planning guidance;
  • Junction design input and swept path assessments;
  • Data analysis and junction modelling (e.g., Junctions10, LinSig);
  • Strong presentation skills for client, authority meetings, and public consultations;
  • Management of post-planning projects such as S38 & S278 works (engineering design experience not required);
  • Relevant degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Geography, Transport Planning) and excellent writing skills.
