Job Description

This is a chance to join Arm's Central Technology team! The Central Technology team provides technology leadership across all areas of Arm's product line. Our group does advanced exploration of proposed ML acceleration ideas across the range of Arm IP. These features make their way into Arm's designs through collaboration with the engineering teams.

Job Overview:

This role leads a team that provides the tools for architectural investigation. Working closely with hardware architects and model engineers, you will define the boundaries of the investigation and lead the team in delivering the tools. As results come back, you will work with the rest of the team to evaluate the results and make recommendations on whether to proceed with the proposed feature. These investigations define the roadmap for accelerating ML on Arm products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the architecture exploration tools team.
  • Define exploration parameters, timelines, and task breakdowns and then deliver results on schedule for evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the hardware architecture and model teams to explore proposed architecture changes for functionality and performance.
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Experience of leading teams, directly and indirectly.
  • Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture and systems and experience working on system design.
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work with an open design space with the ability to adjust direction based on early results.
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :
  • Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Experience working with accelerator design.
  • Low level assembly programming experience.
