About the Role

This is an exciting new role to support our development across the Republic of Ireland, collaborating with our business focused clusters to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • A proven track record in delivering technical project work
  • Excellent project management skills, delivering to quality, budget, resources
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of multi-disciplinary projects
  • Strong client facing skills and a positive approach to business development, including proposal preparation and presentation
  • Pioneering attitude and ability to bring the Arthian brand to public and private work in ROI
  • Any other appropriate tasks
PREFERRED LOCATION
  • ROI
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Proven track record in consultancy - sustainability role
  • Comprehensive experience of sustainability project delivery in ROI - experience of food and drink and/or tourism sectors and supply chain support, experience of manufacturing industry support)
  • Awareness of EU and Irish environmental regulations
  • Sustainability reporting, data collection, analysis and interpretation
  • Commercial growth mindset to support development of workstreams and influence successful growth
  • Commercial awareness and market knowledge
  • Excellent IT skills and use of Microsoft Suite
  • Well networked, with a natural approach to relationship building
  • Full driving licence is essential for this role
DESIRABLE SKILLS EXPERIENCE
  • Commercial consultancy skills to support delivery and business growth
  • Successful track record of winning work in ROI
  • Internal ISO14001 (or similar) auditor
  • Knowledge of the Origin Green sustainability programme
  • On- and off-site auditing
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience of supply chain, procurement sustainability engagement
  • Awareness of circular economy and carbon management
  • Data analysis skills
  • Sustainability strategy development and delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Professional qualifications or status

  • The role may require travel (including occasional overnight stays) depending on project requirements
