Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Your new role

You will join our multi disciplinary Industry and Infrastructure Facilities Service Line, working across a global portfolio of Rail, Aviation, Ports, Data Centres, Industrial, Logistics, advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors. As Principal Electrical Engineer you will manage your own project work, undertake detailed design to the required standards and maintain excellent levels of client service.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead MEP projects and represent Ramboll on discipline design, managing engineers on complementary disciplines on suitably sized projects
  • Work independently with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of the discipline, bringing specialist expertise where applicable
  • Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others in the function
  • Inspire confidence internally and externally, strengthening client relationships
  • Manage time on projects, meet deadlines and allocate resources appropriately

Qualifications
  • Qualified Engineer with a proven and demonstrable track record in the discipline
  • CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education
  • Achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
Skills and capabilities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, bringing specialist discipline expertise
  • Inspire confidence internally and externally, strengthening client relationships
  • Excellent communicator, able to make complex concepts simple
  • Interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools
