Principal Delivery Project Manager

Here at evoke, our Principal Strategic Project Manager (PSPM) is a strategic asset, specialising in tackling intricate, complex, high-impact projects. You'll be a versatile leader and the go-to problem solver for very complex programmes and projects, utilising your expertise to deliver high-impact solutions that drive strategic value for the business.

In this role, you will have previously managed and successfully delivered large-scale, highly complex technology programmes independently. You should also have the ability to manage senior stakeholders across different geographies. You'll be structured, methodical, and an expert in project management using tools like JIRA and Doviko.

The expectation is that you'll oversee one large, highly complex programme spanning multiple domains or two medium-sized projects in isolation, without supervision.

You will have the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and domains, making you invaluable behind the company's most critical strategic initiatives.

What you will be doing:

1. Project Management with agility: Lead complex projects from concept to completion, collaborating with Delivery Leads and teams across different domains, ensuring continuous value delivery and adaptability to change.
2. Strategic Focus: Influence the company's strategic goals, navigate complex dependencies, and ensure deliverables align with broader business objectives.
3. Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Achieve strategic goals by solving problems and implementing new processes and solutions that accelerate delivery and decision-making.
4. Lean Governance: Champion lean project management principles, minimize waste, maximize efficiency, and implement streamlined processes using waterfall and agile methodologies.
5. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, proactive issue mitigation, and building trust and strong relationships.
6. Cross-Domain Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of various development domains within the company.
7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing contingency plans to address potential issues promptly.
8. Sustainable Value Delivery: Focus on solutions that meet current needs and anticipate future challenges, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
