The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

As a Delivery Consultant, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's needs, gather requirements and assess infrastructure, propose effective migration strategies, act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies, lead implementation, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks throughout the project.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA).
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
  • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
  • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
  • Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets.
  • Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications.
  • Degree in advanced technology.
