- The successful candidate will support the definition, agreement, and implementation of a contract management playbook, guiding the Mining Remediation Authority on managing contractual and commercial relationships in line with Government Standards and best practices.
- The role will assist our Learning and Development team in defining appropriate training levels for colleagues with contract management responsibilities.
- It will also contribute to developing learning pathways using the Government Contract Management Capability, Government Campus.
- Develop and establish a cost management framework and strategy, including selecting suitable tools and resources.
- Provide independent cost management and review throughout the project lifecycle, including evaluating supplier proposals and conducting market comparisons to develop benchmark data for better cost estimation.
- Evaluate and approve costs in project feasibility reports, considering options, costs, benefits, and risks to influence strategy.
- Support project managers with specifications, contractual requirements, pricing, cost review, and application of contract conditions through commercial advice.
