Our work with multi-academy trusts, schools, and education charities continues to expand, and we are seeking an exceptional recruiter or education professional to lead and shape our expanding school leadership recruitment offer.

Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Principal Consultant who can deliver executive and senior leadership recruitment projects across the schools and academies sector. You'll bring a strong understanding of the sector, a commitment to inclusive leadership, and a passion for supporting schools in finding leaders who make a lasting difference to their communities.

Responsibilities
  1. Leading recruitment assignments for school-based leaders, including Assistant Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, Headteachers, and Executive Heads/Principals.
  2. Building long-term partnerships with trust CEOs, executive teams, and boards.
  3. Developing and expanding our school leadership network and thought leadership offerings.
  4. Contributing to business growth through repeat work, referrals, and new client development.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues across Peridot to share best practices and grow our impact.
About You

You may have experience as:

  1. A recruiter working in the education or public sector.
  2. A senior leader or business development professional in a MAT or school trust.
  3. Someone with a strong grasp of school leadership challenges, values-led recruitment, and governance.

You should be confident managing client relationships, delivering complex projects to a high standard, and building trust through strategic advice. A background or strong understanding of the UK school system, especially MAT governance and leadership models, would be highly beneficial.
