General Description:

We are looking for scientists who are passionate about data and eager to tackle big challenges using Data Science and Machine Learning. The main focus of this role is to solve complex business problems in Fortune 500 companies. The candidate will work with structured and unstructured data, employing scientific methods and state-of-the-art techniques to help our clients achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Understand complex business problems and translate them into structured data problems.
• Explore and analyze complex data sets (structured and unstructured).
• Prototype models of varying complexity (business analysis, statistical models, machine learning) using modern data science tools (Notebooks, Cloud platforms).
• Design and implement machine learning models, develop metrics, and apply feature engineering techniques tailored to customer problems.
• Support pre-sales efforts and assist engineering teams in deploying production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Evaluate hypotheses and the impact of machine learning algorithms on key business metrics, including offline and online experiments (A/B testing).
• Research user behavior patterns, such as engagement and segmentation, using machine learning models to test hypotheses.
• Communicate findings effectively to engineers and executives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Applied Math, Statistics, Physics, or related quantitative fields.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to understand and implement mathematical models and algorithms from research papers.
• Experience exploring large datasets to formulate questions and derive insights.
• Ability to deliver small, visible progress updates to the team.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and relevant frameworks for machine learning, data visualization, and deployment.
• Experience with feature engineering and machine learning algorithms for Supervised and Unsupervised Learning (Regression, Classification, Clustering, etc.).
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP and NLU).
• Experience with Generative AI systems (e.g., ChatGPT) and prompt engineering techniques.
• Understanding of applying Generative AI in RAG solutions (embeddings, dense search).
• Strong business acumen and consulting skills to identify and analyze problems, formulate hypotheses.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail, with a strategic perspective.
• Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in Machine Learning, Data Mining, or Statistics.
• Experience developing advanced Information Retrieval or Question Answering systems using NLP and Generative AI (e.g., RAG, GraphRAG).
• Experience with Knowledge Graph construction and integration.
