Primary Teaching Assistant

Teach South is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Peacehaven from September. This full time, temporary role offers a monthly salary between £1700 and £1750.

The position involves flexible hours and both long term and ongoing assignments within welcoming primary schools in Peacehaven and Newhaven.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Assist class teachers and deliver general learning support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Support classroom teaching and general learning activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Full time availability from September.
