Looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role this September?The Supply Register is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Grantham to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and socially, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
This is a classroom-based role supporting pupils throughout the school day and contributing to their overall progress and development.
Key Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning within the classroom
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and daily routines
- Deliver small-group interventions where required
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Previous experience working with children in an education or care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
- You have no experience working with children
- You are seeking non-education-based work
- You are unable to commit to full-time school hours
- You are not comfortable working in a classroom environment
- Competitive daily pay (£95-£100 per day)
