About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Felixstowe on a maternity cover basis, starting in September 2026.
This role will involve teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Uphold high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Years 3 or 4)
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, creative, and adaptable
- Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
