About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Primary Teacher to join our welcoming school community in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor pupil progress, and contribute actively to the wider life of the school. We are looking for someone who combines strong classroom practice with a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of every pupil.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
- Establish a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress effectively.
- Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all learners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and personal development.
- Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Have excellent communication, organisation and classroom-management skills.
- Be creative, enthusiastic and committed to raising pupil achievement.
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
- Be reflective and keen to contribute to their own professional development.
