About the Role

We are looking for a Qualified Reception Teacher to inspire the very start of a child's school journey in Harrow. The role can be full time or part time and commences in September 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver the EYFS curriculum through a balanced mix of structured teaching and child led play, with a focus on phonics, early reading, mathematics and personal development.
• Plan, observe and assess each child's progress using the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and SENCO staff to support children, including those with SEND and EAL needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
• Proven experience in EYFS, ideally Reception or Nursery.
• Strong phonics knowledge, including systematic synthetic phonics and early reading approaches.
• Confidence in delivering the EYFS framework with a balance of child led and structured learning.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and EAL.
• Up to date safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Salary: £37,870 - £50,474 per annum (Full time). Daily rate (approx.) £194 - £259 per day.

Start date: September 2026.
