Location: Bournemouth Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September 2026
A dedicated and nurturing primary SEND school is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join their team this September. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly supportive specialist setting, teaching small classes of 8-10 pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
- Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with ASC and ADHD
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and external professionals
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
- Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
- Small class sizes (8-10 pupils) with strong TA support
- A highly supportive leadership team and staff culture

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working with SEND pupils, particularly SEMH, ASC and ADHD
- Strong behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach
- Patience, resilience and a genuine passion for SEND education
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
