Aspire People are looking for a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support a primary school classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting pupils with a range of additional needs while helping them access the mainstream curriculum.
The Role- Supporting pupils with SEND across the classroom, including those with mild to moderate learning difficulties
- Assisting the teacher with group activities and occasionally providing 1:1 support
- Helping pupils engage with lessons and maintain focus
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Preparing resources and supporting classroom organisation
- Observing and recording pupil progress and sharing feedback with teaching staff
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary school
- Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
