We're working with a welcoming primary school in Heaton that's searching for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to work with Key Stage 1 pupils. You'll play a vital part in helping children build confidence, develop independence and enjoy learning in a nurturing classroom environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs within KS1
  • Delivering tailored interventions and classroom support
  • Working alongside the class teacher and SENDCO to implement learning plans
  • Helping children develop social, emotional and communication skills
  • Encouraging independence while providing reassurance when needed
  • Creating a positive, calm and engaging learning environment
We're looking for someone who
  • Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
