Primary School Teacher Location: Derby Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)Contract: Full-time, permanentStart Date: September 2026Long Term Futures are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Derby to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community.This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a stable, long-term position.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the curriculum
• Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor and assess pupil progress to drive achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Support pupils in preparation for end-of-key-stage assessments

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly KS2
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Recent experience within a UK primary setting
• A proactive and nurturing teaching approach
