Do you have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and recent experience working in a UK primary school?

Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants for primary schools from September 2026.

We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic practitioners who already understand the demands of working in a school and can confidently support pupils both academically and pastorally.

This is ideal for a TA who has built up solid classroom experience and wants to secure a new role for the upcoming academic year.

The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with classroom learning and differentiated activities
Supporting Reading, Writing and Maths
Delivering basic interventions under teacher direction
Supporting pupils with SEND where required
Helping maintain positive classroom routines
Supporting behaviour and pupil engagement
Supervising pupils during breaktimes and transitions
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

We're Looking For:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Recent experience working within a UK primary school
Good understanding of the primary curriculum
Experience supporting classroom learning and/or interventions
Confident working with primary-aged children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

Candidates with experience supporting SEND, SEMH or pupils with additional learning needs would be particularly attractive to many of our partner schools.
