Pricing Developer

We are seeking a Pricing Developer to join our London Office on a hybrid basis for an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Your responsibilities will include developing models for the MRSG Pricing tools project, building the rating engine and UI, testing, and providing hypercare support. You will collaborate with the Pricing team, transformation project manager, and IT architects to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Build rating engine structures using Python to replicate existing Excel-based pricing calculations.
• Explore libraries and modules for efficient coding.
• Collaborate with the Pricing team to understand rating structure requirements.
• Review and test code developed by team members.
• Work with IT architects to ensure data connections meet standards.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience with hyperexponential Renew (hx).
• Proficiency in Python or other coding languages.
• Knowledge of SQL and database structures is beneficial.
• Experience with actuarial models like exposure and experience rating is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
