The Opportunity

We're searching for a Presales Enterprise Architect to join our team!

The Solutions Consulting and Enterprise Architecture organisations work with Adobe customers

across all levels ranging from C-level executives, with a focus on the CIO/CTO, to operational teams

to advise on strategy and technology solutions to support customer-experience transformation and

digital innovation, diving into architecture and identifying a prioritised path forward for customers.

Our engagements employ high level architecture assessments, thought leadership around

reference architecture, creation of solution vision and solution design, success roadmap crafting,

and other techniques to deliver high-impact recommendations. In addition, identifying where these

can be executed through Adobe's solutions and services.

Presales Enterprise Architect

For our UK&I region, based out of London, we are looking for a Presales Enterprise Architect to join

the team, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture UK&I, Middle East and South Africa. The

Enterprise Architect is a senior presales position who provides direct support to the regional sales

and partner organisations in the development of opportunity pipeline and execution of deal cycle

strategy within complex and strategic sales opportunities.

The Presales Enterprise Architect is instrumental in the sales process. With your Adobe Digital

Experience (DX) solution knowledge, you are regarded as the trusted advisor, by your customers, by

your colleagues and the full ecosystem. Your colleagues admire your ability to engage the customer,

manage a room, partner with Adobe sales, drive product enhancements with Adobe product &

engineering team, participate in marketing events and local partner enablement & advisory.

Enterprise Architects have deep technical expertise across the full Adobe DX solution portfolio. EAs

partner with DX Account Executives and Account Solution Consultants to assess the technical fit

and set the technical roadmap & vision across pre & post-sales, aligned to the customer strategy

and business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy & Planning - Partners with DX Account Executives to define overall account

  • strategy, focusing on technical vision and design an impact roadmap that supports a

  • customer's long-term strategy and use cases

  • Business Case - Supports DX Account Executives in development of a Business Case and

  • ensures business case and technical case are aligned

  • Technical Case - Owns and defines the customer architecture & technical milestones

  • (current, future and transition states), partners with Account Solution Consultants todevelop a clear Technical Case narrative and supports delivery Solution Architects on

  • technical scope, implementation timelines & proposals

  • Account Management - Partner with DX Account Executives to become trusted client

  • advisors and builds relationships and trusted advisor status with a customer CIO/CTO/CDO

  • organisation

  • Client Management: act as a senior trusted advisor to the customer with a broad customer

  • experience (CX), or specific industry focus, covering the entire journey of an end customer

  • experience end-to-end, as well as internal employee experience.

  • What Your Primary Accountabilities Will Be

  • Architecture Design: validate the as-is / current state situation and goals of the customer

  • and translate it into an appropriate business-driven to-be / target state vision with a

  • supporting IT-roadmap (transition states) and design for architecturally significant

  • requirements (processes, applications, systems) beyond standard blueprints, based on

  • Adobe's solutions.

  • Architecture Oversight: assist in the smooth transition into post-sales and value-

  • realisations stages, advising on operationalizing the mutual business strategy from the

  • Technical Case during the sales cycle

  • Architecture Review: provide regular ongoing reviews where required to clarify and take into

  • consideration new requirements to jointly create a path to solution, impact plan and build a

  • stable client-vendor relationship for future business

  • Serve as the primary over-arching technical expert and resource to guide and support Expert

  • and Account Solution Consultants in development of Technical case

  • Add value "beyond the sale" through long-term strategy development of design roadmap,

  • providing industry insights and connect client needs to Adobe's broader solution portfolio

What You Need To Succeed

  • Ideally broad knowledge of Adobe DX solutions and deep knowledge in several key domains

  • such as customer journey management, data management, implementation & integrations,

  • personalisation, analytics, etc.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and how Adobe fits into best-in-class

  • enterprise solutions

  • Strong leadership capabilities and project management skills to align sales resources

  • behind technical vision and help scale & drive EA knowledge and practice across wider

  • EMEA region

  • Strong soft skills to communicate vision, challenge objections, provide compelling thought-

  • leadership

  • Advisory and communication skills at CxO level with with key executives and develop strong

  • working relationships with practitioner architects

  • Adept at building technical roadmaps & defining multi-phase milestones, and ensuring

  • complex enterprise technologies work together at scale

  • Job Specific Competencies & Skills

  • Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement. Master / MBA preferred

  • 2+ years of licence presales or consulting presales experience in the Adobe eco-system

  • 5+ years of technical solution experience in Adobe DX solutions

  • 10+ years in overall professional experience in technical roles

  • Demonstrable experience of appropriate successful EA engagements

  • TOGAF qualified - highly desirable.

  • Expert knowledge/expertise on end-to-end processes/solution matching • Design Thinking experience in customer facing engagements

  • Experience in sales and sales processes

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
