We help clients make profitable decisions through our understanding of people and place, spatial characteristics, and consumer behaviour. Our clients include retailers, restaurant chains, leisure operators, care homes, charities, automotive manufacturers, and other operators with physical outlets in the UK and overseas.
CACI is recruiting for a Solutions Consultant within the Location Intelligence Group responsible for shaping solutions to clients' spatial strategy questions.
As the UK's leading Location Intelligence team, we deliver advanced spatial analysis and insights to major organisations across various sectors and countries. We provide consultancy, cutting-edge software, and the latest data to optimise location strategies across physical and digital landscapes.
Projects typically last from a week to six months, covering performance analysis, customer insights, network strategies, BI & visualization, and advanced AI predictive modelling. We work closely with clients to understand their goals, incorporate feedback, and develop bespoke solutions.
What you'll be doing
Joining the Solution Consulting team, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative group designing solutions to address strategic questions.
You will scope the right analysis, data, and software based on client needs, working across various sectors and markets, both UK and international, always focusing on people and place.
Our commercial team identifies opportunities and collaborates with you as a Subject Matter Expert to design solutions. You will remain involved as a Project Director, ensuring recommendations meet client needs. Project teams include experts in geospatial modelling, location planning, data engineering, software, and data development, along with a project manager.
Client relationships are valued, and solutions have broad applications. You will become a trusted advisor, helping clients derive value from data, with autonomy and support to innovate and improve our offerings.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to design client solutions
- Shape and scope bespoke solutions
- Communicate and demonstrate the value of our solutions to clients
- Present to clients and at industry events as an expert
- Contribute to the development of our solutions and propositions
- Become a trusted advisor to help businesses leverage data
Who you are

- Capable of managing multiple stakeholders for high-quality insights
Essential requirements
- Interest or understanding of data science and spatial data within client setups
- Knowledge of latest data science, machine learning, and AI techniques
and their relevance for operators and brands. You should also have:
- Spatial analytics SME expertise
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with C-level audiences
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience conducting spatial analysis in real-world applications
- Familiarity with BI platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI)
