Our client is a well known water treatment consultancy that supplies high quality water treatment, legionella and pre commissioning services to clients throughout the UK. They are recruiting a professional and experienced Pre Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Maidstone area. The ideal applicant comes from a strong water treatment background and is experienced in carrying out pre commissioning cleaning duties to BSRIA standards. Consideration will be given to applications from Rochester, Tonbridge, Ashford, Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience- Proven track record in a Pre Commissioning / Flushing engineer role.
- Experience undertaking pre commissioning cleans to BSRIA standard.
- Strong background in water treatment, chemistry, technology, maintenance, education, supervision or plumbing.
- Excellent communication, organisation, client facing, people management and IT skills.
- Hands on experience in water treatment engineering.
- Supervise and collaborate with contractors, operatives and maintenance suppliers.
- Supervise installation systems and commissioning.
- Carry out pre commissioning cleaning on systems according to BSRIA standards.
- Ensure flow rates and complete flushing works.
- Dose CHW, LTHW and washing systems with chemicals; perform tank cleans and chlorination/disinfection in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Compile accurate reports and schematic drawings.
- Adhere to ACOP (8) guidelines and Health & Safety procedures.
- Build and maintain a good working rapport with key clients.
- Prioritise workload and address issues promptly.
- Record all work using the database.
