Job Description

As a Graduate Powertrain Calibration Engineer, you'll be part of our UK team, working closely with colleagues in Germany and across Europe. You'll gain hands-on experience with vehicle systems, software, and calibration tools, contributing to live projects from day one.

What you'll do:

  • Learn and apply tools and processes to develop and test powertrain calibration functions (petrol, diesel, hybrid, BEV).
  • Work directly with vehicles and control units to design and release calibrations that meet safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Support technical project management including planning, quality assurance, cost control, and series production readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with Bosch's engineering processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics or related engineering discipline
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to travel within Europe

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and professional experience in the automotive / powertrain domain
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development
Additional Information

This is a 24-month graduate program beginning inSeptember 2026, designed to launch your career in automotive engineering. You'll receive mentorship, technical training, and exposure to international projects - preparing you for future roles in engineering, leadership, or innovation. This position is open to university graduates who have recently graduated from a university degree.

Location: you will be based at the Nuneaton office.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.
