PowerBuilder Developer/C++ Developer - 6 Month Rolling Contract - Wokingham Hybrid

Location: Wokingham - 2 days per week onsite

Contract: 6 months rolling

Working model: Hybrid

Inside IR35

We're looking for an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join a long-term programme on an initial 6-month rolling contract.

The successful candidate will have strong experience working with complex business systems and a solid development background across PowerBuilder, C/C++, Oracle and SQL.

Key skills & experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder 2021
  • Strong programming skills in C and C++
  • Experience developing Client Server applications
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database
  • Experience with SQL query optimisation and stored procedures
  • Good understanding of DCE frameworks/distributed systems
  • Knowledge of XML for data exchange and system integrations
  • Comfortable working with complex, business-critical systems
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider development team
