Kinetic is seeking to recruit an experienced Powder Coating Specialist to join a specialist coatings company based in Tameside, delivering high-quality coating services to a wide range of industry sectors. Powder coating is a critical function within the business.

The facility operates a medium-sized plant with a rise-and-fall conveyor system capable of processing components up to 2.7m in length, 1.45m in height, and 800mm in width. The role of Powder Coat Specialist involves the application of a wide range of coatings, including Polyester, Epoxy, hybrid systems, and PPA571. The role is intended to progress into a middle management position, with responsibility for coordinating workload, maintaining quality standards, and improving overall plant efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customised sample panels to customer specifications
• Troubleshooting technical and quality issues
• Ensuring production deadlines are consistently met

Qualifications

• Prior experience in powder coating
• Motivated to develop skills into a more advanced and progressive role within the business

Benefits and Working Hours

• 7:00am-3:00pm shift, with the potential to move to a double day shift pattern in the future
• The position is 37.5 hours per week
• Pay rate of £15.15 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of £30,245
• Shift allowances will apply where relevant
