The Translational Medical Device Lab (TMD Lab) at University of Galway is an interdisciplinary research lab spanning medicine, science and engineering that develops diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices with a tangible impact on patient care. Located within University Hospital Galway in the Lambe Translational Research Facility and co-located with the HRB Clinical Research Facility, the lab gives researchers direct access to clinical expertise and patient populations.
