We expect staff to spend the majority of their time on campus, however,we do have a flexible working policy which allows working from home too.

TheArts, Health and Wellbeing Centre is a joint initiative between the NHSGloucestershire Integrated Care Board and the University of Gloucestershire,aiming to improve population health and wellbeing through arts-basedinterventions. We will enable collaboration between communities, academia,health and care, to drive meaningful change in health equality and socialconnection. In the process, we will impact research and policy decisions - locally, nationally and globally.

The Body ProjectGloucestershireis a research-informed prevention programmefocused on improving body image and reducing risk factors associated witheating disorders. Working with children and young people, parents, schools,health professionals and community partners, the programme combinesevidence-based interventions with co-production, training and research todevelop sustainable approaches to prevention and early intervention acrossGloucestershire and beyond.

The Arts, Health andWellbeing Centre (AHWC)is a partnership between the University ofGloucestershire and NHS Gloucestershire, based at the University's City Campus.The Centre brings together academia, health and care, the creative industriesand communities to explore how arts and creativity can improve health andwellbeing and reduce health inequalities. It provides a hub forinterdisciplinary research, education, innovation and community engagement,with a particular interest in developing creative and participatory approachsto understanding and evidencing impact.

The postdoctoralresearcher will work across these complementary initiatives, helping tostrengthen their research profile, develop innovative approaches to evaluationand impact, and contribute to a growing programme of locally rooted, nationallyand internationally relevant creative health research.
