Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: 8:30 to 14:30

As a Postal Delivery Driver in Sleaford, you will sort and load mail each morning at the local office, starting at 8:30. Using a handheld device for navigation and signatures, you will deliver letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, covering up to eight miles daily. This full-time, temporary role with Pertemps Royal Mail offers £13.69 per hour for up to 30 hours weekly, Monday to Friday with weekend availability. Shifts conclude around 14:30. You should be comfortable lifting mail bags and working outdoors independently, with a strong focus on customer service. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred)
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
