Job Description

Do you consider yourself a born scientist but want to get started in the pharmaceutical industry?


Do you have a PhD in CNS related and you are experience in Orphan Drugs ?

General Responsibility


Lead the optimization of the current Portfolio CNS of the company.


Specific Responsibilities


  • Identification of new development candidates in the CNS space, with a particular focus in the neurology space (Parkinson's, epilepsy, ADHD, etc.).
  • Technical evaluation and scientific due diligence of projects.
  • Maintaining the database of academic institutions and startups/companies.
  • Active scouting of new sources to identify new opportunities: platforms, newsletters and technology transfer units
  • Contacting potential suppliers/providers of match-making solutions between academy and industry.
  • Participating in scientific congresses and partnering events.
  • Organization of regular meetings with physicians to identify unmet medical needs and validate development candidates.


Requirements and personal skills


Education: PhD in CNS related area highly preferred. Experience in Orphan Drugs is a plus.

Languages: Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory; knowledge of other languages will be an asset.

Experience (years/area): +1 experience in Business Development, Portfolio, R&D or Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Travels: Willingness to travel (not very frequent).

Personal skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical and organizational skills, curiosity, initiative and resolution.
