Job Title: Poppy Appeal Manager - Isle of Wight

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Royal British Legion as a Poppy Appeal Manager for Isle of Wight. This role offers a unique opportunity to coordinate all aspects of the award-winning Poppy Appeal in your area, working closely with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager to meet income, expenditure, and contribution targets. You will manage relationships with local supporters, partners, and volunteers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to maximize fundraising efforts and make a lasting impact.

This is a part-time role of 7 hours per week, with flexible working hours to accommodate other commitments. Applicants must be based on the Isle of Wight.

Join a leading Armed Forces charity and make a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

Your responsibilities will include building and nurturing corporate partnerships, recruiting and inducting new Poppy Appeal Organisers, coordinating the Poppy Appeal launch, and engaging with stakeholders through PR and media activities. You will represent the Royal British Legion in your community, maintaining regular travel around the Isle of Wight. A full UK driving license is required.

Employee benefits include paid holidays, a generous pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, employee assistance programs, development courses, volunteering opportunities, travel loans, Cycle to Work scheme, and more.
