Policy Lifecyle Product Owner - 12 month FTC

We're seeking a Product Owner to join our Retail Policy Lifecycle Management team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. As our capability domain expert, you'll play a crucial role in delivering both business and customer value by managing our Policy Lifecycle Management. As we grow, you'll support the business in ensuring our key processes and platforms are stable, scalable, and prepared for new requirements.
At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing our staff to balance home and office work. You'll work at least 40% remotely, increasing to the majority of your week from September 2025. This includes attending offices, visiting clients, or industry events. We're open to discussing flexible arrangements with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing:- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure effective delivery aligned with expectations.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business needs and customer priorities.
- Define acceptance criteria and approve deliverables to ensure they meet requirements and deliver value.
- Ensure high-quality releases that meet standards and provide reliable features.
- Support the documentation of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Deliver customer value by ensuring platform services meet needs and expectations.
- Create tangible benefits and positive user experiences.
- Implement system improvements, consolidations, and support activities.

What you'll bring:- Experience as a Product Owner or similar, especially in retail or policy management.
- Deep understanding of insurance policy processes, including billing.
- Strong Agile methodology experience and backlog management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset focused on customer value and user experience.
- Experience defining acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Ability to document product vision, strategy, and roadmaps with a focus on operational resilience.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of policy lifecycle systems is advantageous.
