Job overview

We are currently recruiting 2 Podiatrists to join the CPFT Podiatry Service working in the community in Cambridgeshire.

The successful applicants will work primarily in their local podiatry team but will support the service across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough as needed. Our main sites include Oak Tree Centre, Doddington Community Hospital, Princess of Wales Hospital, and Chesterton Medical Centre.

We welcome Podiatrists from various backgrounds, including newly qualified staff and those transitioning from private practice. We offer a comprehensive preceptorship program for new graduates and a structured competency framework for experienced Podiatrists to ensure a supportive onboarding process.

Positions can be full or part-time, with potential for compressed hours (e.g., full-time over 4 days or 9 day fortnights). The salary and band will depend on experience. If a candidate does not meet Band 6 criteria initially, they will be offered a Band 5 post during preceptorship, with promotion to Band 6 upon successful completion, typically within 12 months.
