PMO Manager (HR)

Please note - this is a fixed term contract role until 31.05.26
Reapit - Who are we?Reapit is the original end-to-end business technology provider for estate agencies of all sizes. We've been helping sales and lettings agents build relationships and grow their businesses for more than 25 years. Our technology empowers property professionals across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand to work with buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords to deliver a dream home experience.
Worldwide, over 78,000 agents across more than 15,000 branches use Reapit to run their businesses, manage properties, collect rent, engage clients, and provide outstanding customer service every time.
What you'll be doingReporting into Business Transformation and working day to day with the Chief People Officer, you will bring PMO structure, visibility and delivery discipline to the People function. This is a PMO and business change role: your job is to give the business a single, trusted view of what is running, what it will deliver and when - not to personally run every project on the list. You will work with our Transformation Programme Manager, who sets the framework and provides oversight while you own the day-to day running of it.
You'll be involved in:
- Establishing and running a single, prioritised view of all change activity across the People function - the authoritative source of truth on scope, status, dependencies and delivery dates
- Building the PMO and governance framework: intake and prioritisation, planning standards, RAID management, decision and escalation routes, and a regular reporting cadence
- Running the governance rhythm end to end, including preparing and servicing the monthly portfolio review chaired by the Chief People Officer, and holding workstream owners to their commitments
- Producing concise, executive-grade reporting on delivery progress, risk, dependencies and benefits, suitable for ExCo and Board consumption
- Driving delivery through others: supporting workstream leads with planning, unblocking issues, chasing dependencies and escalating early where dates are at risk
- Directly managing a small number of cross-cutting or higher-risk initiatives where hands-on project management is needed
- Supporting prioritisation and resource decisions, including input to FY27 planning, so effort is directed at the highest-value work and lower value activity is stopped
- Identifying and improving operational processes within the People function where they get in the way of delivery
- Acting as a coordination point between People, Finance, Business Transformation and business leaders
This role is offered as a fixed-term contract to 31 May 2028, with scope to extend or convert. It sits within Business Transformation and is initially seconded to the People function. Once the People portfolio is established and running to a steady cadence, the role broadens to cover the wider change portfolio as part of our central PMO - so you are joining a growing capability, not a single-function post.
Who we're looking forAt Reapit, we prioritise hiring individuals who share our values and possess the right attitudes and behaviours for success. Whilst some of the listed requirements may be important, don't worry if you don't meet all of them, we'd still like to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in a project, programme or PMO delivery role, including setting up governance and reporting where little or none existed
- A track record of bringing structure to ambiguity and getting senior stakeholders to work to a cadence without relying on formal authority
- Strong planning, dependency and risk management skills across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Confidence producing clear, executive-level reporting and insight, and working with data to support prioritisation decisions
- The ability to operate autonomously and hold your own with senior stakeholders, while working within an agreed framework
- Strong Excel skills, plus familiarity with delivery and reporting tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, Power BI)
- A recognised project or portfolio qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, MSP, MoP or Agile) is welcome, but capability matters more than certification
- A commercially minded, detail oriented and delivery-focused approach. Desirable: exposure to HR, finance or other corporate function systems (e.g. an HRIS such as HiBob), or the appetite to get up to speed quickly - experience within a People/HR environment is a bonus, not a requirement
We operate a Flexible Working Policy and would expect you to work from our Farringdon office location 1-2 days a week.
You'll be building a PMO function from scratch in a high-visibility part of the business, working directly with the Chief People Officer and with the support and oversight of our Transformation Programme Manager. As our central PMO capability grows, this role grows with it, offering a genuine route into wider portfolio ownership across the business.

We feel we have an empowering environment where everyone is supported and respected, and we want you to feel this too. We welcome new ideas, thinking and approaches, whilst listening to all our employees.
