About the roleWe are looking for somebodywho has the following background and skills:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Davy'scentralProgrammeManagement Office (PMO) on an 18 month fixed term contract.
As a PMO Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting project delivery across theorganisationby helping teams translate business needs into clear requirements, enhance processes, strengthen governance, and enable data-driven decision making. This is a business-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, engaging with stakeholders, and helping shape how the firm delivers change.
In the role, the successful candidate will:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement- Partner withProjectManagers and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into high quality business requirements and user stories.
- Map andanalyseexisting business processes toidentifyopportunities for simplification andstandardisation.
- Support PMO continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancements to delivery frameworks, reporting, and governance.
- Producehigh qualityreports.
- Analysedata toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities.
- Create dashboards and management insights
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, andrequirementssessions with business teams and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare business documentation including requirements, process maps, and operating models.
- Support communication of change impacts and benefits across theorganisation.
- AssistProjectManagers with planning, RAID management, and governance preparation.
- Support change readiness by contributing to training materials, procedures, and communications.
- Participate in UAT coordination and business-side testing support.
- Ensure alignment of requirements and documentation with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
- Support PMO audit, compliance, and control assessments asrequired.
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process flows.
- Experience working in project or PMO environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highlyorganisedwith strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience within a central PMO or portfolio function.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Power BI
- Exposure to regulatory or risk-related change initiatives.
- Knowledge of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
