Plumbing Sales Coordinator - Birch Avenue, Stillorgan (A94 A3X6)

The role of Plumbing Sales Coordinator is to provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service while optimising branch sales and gross profit, promoting the company's products and services in a professional manner and delivering a superior standard of customer care to our existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with customers, to understand their requirements and ensure that the correct products are supplied.
• Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers, maximising profitable sales and margin.
• Achieve sales and margin targets.
• Maintain a clean and effectively merchandised counter area in line with company policy.
• Responsible for re ordering selected product lines and ensuring that stock levels of the plumbing and heating department are maintained at appropriate levels.
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary.
• Support the Branch Manager and colleagues in teamwork to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within company policy.
• Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or required by the company.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience working in a busy builder provider preferred.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets.
• Good knowledge of plumbing and heating products.
• Previous sales experience an advantage.

Contract Type

• Permanent, full time, 39 hour contract.
• Working week Monday to Friday; may be required to take part in the Saturday roster.
• Location - Birch Avenue, Stillorgan (A94 A3X6)
