About the Role:We are recruiting on behalf of an established adult training centre for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role focuses on delivering high-quality training to adult learners, supporting them in gaining practical skills and recognised qualifications to progress within the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing training to adult learners
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with awarding body standards
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Support learners with varying levels of experience and backgrounds
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications
• Proven industry experience as a plumber
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate adult learners
• Commitment to safeguarding and learner success

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
• Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/CAVA)
