Job Description

Would you like to start a new professional adventure as an PLC Commissioning engineer Italian & French Speaker in one of our opportunities in the Aerospace and Defence sector in Genoa?

What will you do?

  • Design and develop PLC software for industrial automation systems and material handling systems in the aerospace sector.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging, diagnosing and resolving faults in automated systems and material handling machinery.
  • Integrate and test new software solutions with hardware devices, ensuring smooth system operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimize the interaction between software and industrial plants.
  • You will work on-site 5 days a week to ensure perfect alignment with the project.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of automation systems at client sites, providing technical assistance and training.

️ What do we require?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PLC programming using Siemens (knowledge of TIA Portal, Step7, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or equivalent platforms will be considered a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and solve problems in automated systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Expertise in industrial automation and material handling, with the ability to work on complex systems.
  • Academic background: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Automation Engineering.
  • Fluent English and native Italian.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
