We have a new opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join our friendly and successful teambased in County Meath.
Key responsibilities- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of welfare units, generators, lighting towers, and other hire plant equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Preparing equipment for hire, ensuring all units meet safety and operational standards.
- Responding to breakdowns on customer sites and completing on-site repairs when required.
- Maintaining accurate service records, job sheets, and parts usage.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Supporting the depot team with equipment checks, stock control, and general workshop duties.
- Liaising with customers and drivers to ensure smooth delivery, collection, and turnaround of equipment.
- Previous experience within a similar role as Plant Fitter, Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role.
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- The ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Full Driving licence
- Good communication skills
- Supporting our team during peak season, including providing out of hours breakdown cover.
