Plant Engineer (6 months fixed term)

Location

Aberdeen

Working Hours

Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 17:00 (42 hours per week). Flexible and job share options are available.

Responsibilities

Provide overall responsibility for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment in the region, ensuring all work undertaken is safe and compliant with Speedy safety standards. Work directly with other engineers, drivers and the hire desk team to prioritise repairs and maintenance, supporting the ESG strategy.

Requirements

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment at a high standard, preferably in a hire or similar industry.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent City & Guilds qualification.
• Technical/engineering background desirable.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Commitment to supporting the unit/team to deliver the ESG strategy.
