Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Planning Specialist with experience in large-scale industrial EPC projects. The role requires full autonomy onsite, overseeing scheduling activities with limited planning support. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6, have strong construction site experience, and be fluent in English. Familiarity with Google Sheets and excellent soft skills such as proactivity, communication, and curiosity are also desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project baseline schedules and progress tracking using the company's Work Breakdown Structure.
• Ensure comprehensive activity inclusion, coordinating with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Analyze critical paths and collaborate with the Project Manager to mitigate scheduling risks.
• Work closely with project engineers and teams through reviews and coordination meetings.
• Update schedules monthly to reflect actual progress and realistic forecasts.
• Perform progress analysis to identify delays and upcoming critical tasks.
• Recommend corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Support project execution planning and control to meet deadlines and progress goals.
• Provide transparency on timelines and progress status.
• Assist the Project Manager with execution strategy decisions and structure project activities from start to finish.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Expert-level construction progress monitoring.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling techniques.
• Confirmed experience with Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
