FutureGen Recruitment is representing a highly regardedplanning consultancy seeking a Planning Director to lead and grow its EastAnglia presence from Norwich.

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility forbusiness development, team growth, client relationships and the delivery ofmajor residential planning projects. The successful candidate will be a visiblefigurehead within the regional development market and will take ownership ofthe consultancy's long-term growth strategy across Norfolk, Suffolk andCambridgeshire.

The Role

As Planning Director, responsibilities will include:

• Settingand delivering the East Anglia growth strategy
  
• Winningmajor instructions and strengthening client relationships
  
• Leadingmajor residential schemes, Local Plan promotions and appeals
  
• Managingsenior stakeholders including land promoters, developers and investors
  
• Overseeingteam performance, recruitment and long-term talent development
  
• Managingoperational performance, project profitability and regional budgets
  
• Representingthe business at industry events and within the property market
  
• Ensuringhigh-quality planning delivery and maintaining consultancy reputation
