Planner / Senior Planner
  • Cheltenham Hybrid Working Available
  • £32,000 - £42,000 (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planner or Senior Planner to join a highly regarded and growing planning consultancy based in Cheltenham.

This is a fantastic chance to be part of a close-knit, quality-driven team that prides itself on delivering thoughtful, commercially sound planning advice across a wide range of projects.

The Opportunity

You will join a consultancy that is known for its attention to detail, pragmatic approach and strong client relationships, working across a diverse portfolio of projects.

The role offers exposure to:

  • Residential and mixed-use developments
  • Commercial and rural schemes
  • Planning applications and appeals
  • Strategic advice and site appraisals

You will play a key role in:

  • Preparing and managing planning applications
  • Providing clear and commercially focused advice to clients
  • Supporting project delivery from initial strategy through to determination
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the business

This is a role where you will be trusted to take ownership, think strategically and deliver outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented planner who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

You will likely have:

  • A degree in Town Planning or related discipline
  • MRTPI Chartered status (or working towards)
  • Experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to manage your time and workload effectively

You'll be someone who values honesty, clarity and doing things properly, with the confidence to provide clear advice and contribute to decision-making.
