Our applications are now open for our Placement 2026 intake. This role would commence June 2026.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Commercial Director, as a Placement Estimator you will work closely with other members of the pre-construction commercial team to prepare comprehensive commercial tender proposals as a key part of our drive to secure new projects

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with the review of tender documents to highlight any missing documents and as you progress, put together a project overview document for presentation to company directors
  • Assist with the measurement of all aspects of the project, putting together a details contract sum analysis (CSA) which will form part of our final tender submission
  • Issue of tender packs to the supply chain for pricing, completing tender analysis of the sub-contractor priced returns and where appropriate incorporating these into our CSA
  • Raise any tender queries with the client team, in a clear and concise manner, relaying any responses onto our supply chain for inclusion within their pricing
  • Prepare prelim breakdown in conjunction with the project managers and tender programme
  • Attendance at tender review meetings whether these are client meetings or MAR internal meetings.
  • Any other duties as required by management.
Education/Experience
  • Must be working towards a degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD
  • Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK and Ireland.
