Job Title: Ping Directory Engineer (On-Prem & Azure)

Location: Amsterdam, Hybrid (3 days in office)

Contract Type: 6-months, extendable

Rate: Negotiable

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Ping Directory Engineer with strong practical experience in implementing, configuring, and managing Ping Directory solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience across both on-premises and Azure environments and be comfortable bridging these two worlds to deliver seamless directory services.

This is a 6-month contract based in Amsterdam with a hybrid work model (3 days in office). The rate is negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Ping Directory solutions across on-prem and Azure environments.
  • Deploy and integrate Ping Directory with Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Support migration, synchronization, and directory services between on-prem and Azure.
  • Provide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization for Ping Directory deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, infrastructure) for seamless integration.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Ping Directory in production environments.
  • Solid understanding of directory services concepts (LDAP, replication, schema design, access controls).
  • Experience with Ping Identity suite is a plus.
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services, preferably in identity/directory management.
  • Ability to integrate directory services with enterprise applications and authentication flows.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Ping Federate, Ping Access, PingOne, or other IAM tools.
  • Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
