Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and motivated physiotherapist who is keen to learn and then specialise in the management of Hypermobility (HSD), Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS). This can involve the management of adults and/or the paediatric population. This is a part time role for a Physiotherapist, located in Dublin with the possibility to build to a full time caseload. The Physiotherapist will conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualised treatment programmes, and provide education on conditions such as HSD, EDS and PoTS. The role includes working closely with patients and their families, monitoring progress, and adapting treatments as needed to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Main Duties of the Job- Once trained, independently manage a complex clinical caseload.
- Liaise with other members of the MDT and with doctors involved in the patient's care.
- Contribute to service evaluation and improvement.
- Promote and engage in clinical research and evidence based practice within our services when possible.
- Provide expert guidance and education to patients, families, and colleagues on the conditions.
- Ensure high standards of documentation, patient safety, and clinical governance.
Must have Coru and ISCP registration.
Experience in rheumatology/musculoskeletal/spinal physiotherapy, ideally with experience in paediatrics.
Good clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Passion for service development, innovation, and improving patient outcomes.
