We're working with a highly regarded, top-tier UK accountancy firm that continues to invest heavily in its Private Client offering. With strong leadership, a genuinely people-first culture, and clear growth plans, they're now looking to appoint a Personal Tax Manager to strengthen their dedicated tax team.
This is a role where you'll go beyond the numbers-working closely with owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering a blend of compliance and increasingly advisory-led work.
What you'll be doing- Managing a diverse portfolio of private clients including OMBs, partnerships and HNWIs
- Reviewing and overseeing personal tax compliance work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and HMRC
- Supporting and delivering advisory work across areas such as income tax, CGT and planning opportunities
- Identifying opportunities to add value and contribute to business development
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- ATT / CTA / CA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong grounding in Personal / Private Client Tax within a professional services firm
- Experience across compliance, with exposure (or appetite) for advisory work
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to build client relationships
- Ability to manage workload and support junior staff effectively
