We are recruiting for a mid-tier accountancy practice that has ambitious plans to expand its business. Our client has created a new opportunity for a Personal Tax SM/Associate Director to join their growing Personal Tax team. This full time, permanent position will be based in their London office and offers hybrid working options, allowing you to work three days in the office and two days from home. Additionally, they provide flexible working options, enabling you to adjust your hours to suit your lifestyle.

About the Role

As a Personal Tax Associate Director, you will manage and grow a varied portfolio of personal tax consultancy clients and advise on a comprehensive range of services including CGT, international tax, property tax, tax returns, trusts & estates, IHT, US tax compliance, and fee protection insurance. You will review more complex tax returns and computations while also increasing the London client base.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a varied portfolio of personal tax consultancy clients, advising on CGT, international tax, property tax, tax returns, trusts & estates, IHT, US tax compliance, and fee protection insurance.
• Review complex tax returns and computations while increasing the London client base.
• Play a key part in networking and marketing activities to win private client tax consultancy work.
• Work closely with Directors and the tax team to ensure the firm provides a full range of high quality tax services for clients.
• Measure and monitor the division's KPIs, and work alongside the head of personal tax to create and implement a personal tax business strategy, consulting on and drawing upon the expertise of the Board.
• Plan and manage the work delivered by the Personal Tax division, line manage and develop staff in the personal tax team.
• Further develop the firm's relationship with its international network.
