A leading boutique firm of chartered accountants in London is looking to add a Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager or Manager to their team. The role involves managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders, ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns. In addition, the successful candidate will provide tax planning advice, work with high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, and international clients, and assist partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required.
Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Preparation and review of personal tax returns
- Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
- Assisting partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required
- ATT or ACCA qualified (ACA or CTA qualified is preferable, or currently studying towards CTA)
- Strong personal tax experience within a practice environment
- Excellent communication and client handling skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high quality work across a varied caseload
