Job Description
Personal Care Assistant - OldhamAspire People is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to work in a highly regarded specialist SEN school in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team supporting young people with a wide range of additional needs. The school supports pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and caters for a diverse range of SEND, including moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and complex medical needs. The provision has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and educational support in a nurturing and inclusive environment. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils who require assistance with personal care throughout the school day. Maintaining pupils' dignity, wellbeing and independence will be at the heart of everything you do. Working closely with teaching, therapy and support staff, you will help ensure pupils can comfortably access their learning environment and participate fully in school life.
